Young Star Helps Propel Alexander Cartwright League to Win in Midseason Classic Saturday, June 26th, 2027 Shaun Sharp shone brightly tonight against the best talent that the AA has to offer. The all-star was named MVP for the annual mid-season showcase held at Confucius Field, as his Alexander Cartwright League All-Stars downed the Ford Frick League All-Stars by a count of 6-5. "It's humbling to even play in a game like this with legends of the sport all around you," he said. Sharp went 1 for 2 to capture the honor. In a career spanning 270 games, Sharp has batted .266 with 271 hits, 35 home runs, 134 RBIs, and 166 runs scored. |
