Fuller Belts Bunch of Base Hits Saturday, June 19th, 2027 David Fuller exploded for a barrage of base hits today at UFO Field. The Long Island left fielder had a field day in the 6-4 triumph over the Phoenix Lights, finishing 5-for-6. "My hitting philosophy is pretty simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch." Well, Fuller must have focused at least 5 times and apparently got some good pitches, too. It was one of his best days ever with the bat. David Fuller hit an RBI double in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, singled in the 7th, hit a solo-shot off Millard Dixon in the 9th, singled in the 11th and hit an RBI double in the 13th. Hitting .254 to date, Fuller has 7 home runs and 43 RBIs. He has played in 70 games. |
