Week's Premier Player: Ottawa's Kim Monday, June 14th, 2027 So far in his young career, Il-hwan Kim has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Alexander Cartwright League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 22-year-old Ottawa Outlaws right fielder hit at a torrid .560 clip as he collected 14 hits in 25 at-bats, 1 home run, 3 RBIs and 8 runs scored. This season Kim has hit 2 home runs and posted a .343 batting average. |
