But Aziz Sanchez did just that today for the Roses and gave his batting average a healthy boost and sparked his club in the win. "I felt real good in the batter's box today. I had confidence in my swing and knew that it was there and that I could get the job done," the 29-year-old second baseman said after his record-setting performance. Aziz Sanchez walked in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 5th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI double in the 9th. Currently Sanchez is batting .313 with no home runs, 8 RBIs and 16 runs scored. |
