Hawks van de Ven Suffers Injury Saturday, May 22nd, 2027 "I'm frustrated right now," said Boise center fielder Reuben van de Ven. "I can't help this team by sitting on the bench or in the training room." Unfortunately for the Hawks, that's where he will be spending 7 months. van de Ven suffered a broken kneecap in today's game against Sandy Springs while colliding with a player at a base. "Believe me," he said, "I won't be out a day longer than I have to be." Thus far this year van de Ven has hit .212 with no home runs and 3 RBIs. |
