Hit Parade: Rice Pops 5 Hits Monday, May 10th, 2027 5 hits in 7 at-bats. It doesn't happen every day, and when it does, it's exciting. Today Bryce Rice of the Frisco Rams had a sensational game against Ottawa at Parliament Field. He rifled base hits all over the ballpark in his team's 16-8 shellacking of the Outlaws. In the postgame press conference he joked, "Heck, that's a week's worth of hitting for me and I did ,it all in one day. I guess I can take the rest of the week off. Right, skipper?" Bryce Rice singled in the 1st, doubled in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 7th, grounded out in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 9th. In 31 games Rice is hitting .326 this season with 43 hits, no home runs, 11 RBIs, 7 walks, .360 OBP and has scored 17 runs. |
