Star of the Week Picked in ACL Monday, May 10th, 2027 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Alexander Cartwright League, but last week Bill Hawken of the Killeen Black Knights reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Hawken rocked opposing pitching for a .412 average (14-for-34), 2 home runs and 14 RBIs to come away with the award. So far this season Hawken is hitting .376 with 4 home runs, 23 RBIs and 21 runs scored. He has 32 hits in 85 at-bats and a .476 OBP. |
