League Gives Rice and Chittibabu 2-Game Suspensions Friday, September 17th, 2027 Yesterday at LaGrave Field Bryce Rice and Anumodana Chittibabu lost their tempers and now they will have a few days off to cool down. The league office has suspended Fort Worth's Bryce Rice and Indian Wells's Anumodana Chittibabu for 2 games for fighting. The suspensions are scheduled to go into effect today. This season Rice is swinging the bat at a .353 rate with 143 hits in 405 at-bats. To date he has hit no home runs, scored 60 runs and driven in 60. So far this year Chittibabu has been credited with 3 saves, registered a 5.27 ERA and struck out 109 in 109.1 innings. He also has a 9-1 record. |
