Bethesda's Carr to Miss 9 Months Sunday, September 12th, 2027 The Bethesda Lions learned that Edward Carr is likely to be out for 9 months after he injured himself throwing a pitch in today's game against the Coronado Phantoms. A round of tests by the team doctor revealed the injury to be a torn labrum. Upon hearing the diagnosis, the Bethesda manager told the press, "As you all know, we can't control injuries -- they are a part of the game. We just have to do the best we can until Edward is back in action." This year Carr has compiled a 4-5 record with a 3.82 ERA in 12 starts. |
