But when you put up numbers like his, you're going to get some notice. In August the South Bay starter earned a 5-1 mark in 7 starts. He threw 40 innings, struck out 36 and compiled a solid 2.92 ERA. In 31 starts this season Carreiras has fashioned a 14-6 record and a 4.29 ERA. |
