Roman Bakhtiyarov Suffers Injury Sunday, August 15th, 2027 Medical officials from the Vancouver Canadians reported that the club's 22-year-old third baseman, Roman Bakhtiyarov, suffered a broken bone in the elbow in yesterday's matchup against the Minneapolis Freeze while being hit by a pitch. Bakhtiyarov is expected to miss 5 months of action. Bakhtiyarov is presently hitting at a .213 pace with 7 home runs and 39 RBIs. He has played in 71 games and scored 31 times. |
