Hounsell Hits in 20 Consecutive Games Wednesday, August 11th, 2027 Adam Hounsell collected 2 hits in today's game and extended his hitting streak to 20 games. His club, the Indian Wells Aeropostales, beat Amarillo 9-8. After the ballgame, Hounsell quipped to a BNN reporter, "Right now, when they throw me the ball, it looks the size of a softball. I'm pretty excited how things are clicking." Adam Hounsell walked in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Leonard Lee in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th, struck out in the 8th and flied out in the 10th. This year Hounsell has hit at a .343 clip with 113 RBIs, 31 home runs and 100 runs scored. |
