Bad News for Argonauts, Tukulve Jr. Injured Tuesday, July 27th, 2027 The Astoria Argonauts will have to make do without Kent Tukulve Jr. for 9 months. He suffered a torn labrum while throwing a pitch in the game today against the Vancouver Canadians. His teammates, understandably, were upset about losing the reliever. "That's a tough break for him," one of them said. "But this team is resilient. We will just fill in until he gets back." This season Tukulve Jr. has chalked up no saves, notched a 0-1 record with a 7.71 ERA, allowed 11 hits in his 7 innings of work, struck out 8 and walked 5. Opponents are hitting .355 against the Astoria hurler. |
