Bad News for Amarillo, Ernesto Ortíz Hurt Saturday, June 19th, 2027 Amarillo Horseman first baseman Ernesto Ortíz suffered a broken bone in the elbow during a recent game with the Champaign Chiefs and will miss 7-8 months. Ortíz told BNN, "I hurt it running the bases. I'm optimistic that I will be back quicker than they say." So far this year Ortíz has hit .265 with 2 home runs, 10 RBIs and 8 runs scored. |
