Champaign's António Gonzáles Injured Monday, May 10th, 2027 Champaign center fielder António Gonzáles left today's game with a fractured ankle. The injury looked like it occurred making a defensive play in the game against Acapulco. One fan said, "As soon as it happened, you could tell something was wrong." The injury will likely leave the Chiefs without Gonzáles for about 4-5 months. So far this season Gonzáles is batting .277 with 3 home runs. |
