Flores Wins BCL Honor Monday, May 10th, 2027 So far in his young career, Roberto Flores has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Blake Camden League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 24-year-old Vancouver Canadians third baseman hit at a torrid .440 clip as he collected 11 hits in 25 at-bats, 5 home runs, 9 RBIs and 9 runs scored. This season Flores is swinging the bat at a .215 rate with 20 hits in 93 at-bats. To date he has hit 5 home runs, scored 15 runs and driven in 12. |
