Coronado's Gui Zhang Injured Thursday, May 6th, 2027 Whether he wants it or not, Gui Zhang of the Coronado Phantoms will be getting some R & R -- rest and relaxation. The left fielder was hurt in today's Phantoms-Lions game while making a defensive play. Team officials announced after the game that Zhang had suffered a torn labrum and would be out of action for 7 months. Zhang is hitting .255 so far this season with 9 RBIs and 13 runs scored. He has 28 hits including 3 home runs, 5 walks and .291 OBP. |
