Flash Chill Meaker's Hot Streak Tuesday, April 27th, 2027 Spencer Meaker's 21-game hitting streak has now come and gone. It was snapped today in the Phantoms 5-1 setback to the Flash. Meaker went without a hit in 3 trips to the plate. Talking to BNN after the game he was visibly upset. But the streak had little to do with it. "I'm disappointed we lost, I'm not one bit disappointed that the streak ended," Meaker said. "The hitting streak was just one of those things where it was fun while it lasted, but I'm not going to lose any sleep tonight." Meaker is batting .349 this season in 21 games with 1 home run, 8 RBIs and 7 runs scored. He has 30 hits in 86 at-bats. |
