Roberto Clemente League Names Top Rookie Friday, November 12th, 2027 Ángel Ruíz's age didn't show very often in his first year. He performed more like a veteran on the hill for the Duke City Danger and today he walked away with the 2027 Roberto Clemente League Rookie of the Year Award. The 23-year-old starter registered a 12-7 record this season in 23 starts. Over 168.1 innings he gave up 162 hits, struck out 137 and issued 52 walks as he held the opposition to a .252 batting average and fashioned a 3.48 ERA. Masayoshi Sai of the Brooklyn Black Knights finished second in voting, while David O'Farrell of the Brooklyn Black Knights finished third. |
