Earthquakes Cruise to ABL World Series with Sweep Tuesday, October 26th, 2027 The San Francisco Earthquakes proved to be too much to handle for the Mile High Mustangs in the League Pennant, and a sweep was the end result. San Francisco punched its ticket to the ABL World Series on the strength of a 10-0 win in the deciding game, which wrapped up the series 4-0. Jorge Zamora, named series MVP, was instrumental in the sweep, as he mashed Mile High pitching to the tune of a .545 average, with a .538 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 8 RBI and scored 4 runs. The San Francisco Earthquakes don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Montreal Bandits - So Cal Republic series. So Cal leads the series 2 game to 1. The ABL World Series schedule will be announced after the League Pennant finishes. |
