Mile High Takes Divisional Championship in Deciding Game Wednesday, October 20th, 2027 The Mile High Mustangs and Georgia Grays hooked up in a classic Divisional Championship that went right down to the wire. In the end, it's Mile High heading off to the League Pennant, after a 8-5 win at McNichols Stadium tonight earned the 4-3 series win. Outside McNichols Stadium, whether they were supporters of Mile High or Georgia, many fans talked about how it was a series they would never forget. Marshall Dempsey played the hero for the Mustangs in the series, as his MVP performance included a .290 batting average, with a .313 on-base percentage. He also had 4 home runs, 7 RBI and scored 7 runs. The Mile High Mustangs will play against the San Francisco Earthquakes in the next round. San Francisco won their series against the Maple Marauders 4 games to 0. The League Pennant schedule will be announced after the Divisional Championship finishes. |
