Weeks Blitzes Oakland Tuesday, September 28th, 2027 Ray Weeks of Jacksonville easily handled the Oakland Storm Chasers, stopping them on 4 hits and chucking a complete-game 18-0 shutout. "He really did a job on us," said the Oakland manager. "He had good command of his pitches. He changed speeds well and pretty much confused us. We never could zero in on him, but he certainly zeroed in on us." Weeks said, "Everything was working for me. Throwing my breaking stuff over the plate was big." He finished the game with 14 strikeouts and 1 walk in a solid outing. In 33 starts this season Weeks has rung up a 18-11 record and a 3.18 ERA. |
