But they can't, so the good hitters get the big bucks. Tan Tang showed how it's done as he went 5 for 6 against the Jersey Jesters and helped the Quebec Armada beat them 12-2. The manager for the Jesters told the BNN sportswriters, "We made some bad pitches and he took advantage of it. That's the game of baseball. Don't make mistakes and you win a lot more ballgames." If Tang keeps hitting like this, he could be headed for a big pay raise. Tan Tang singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, grounded out in the 6th and singled in the 9th. This season in 89 games Tang is batting .297 with 2 home runs, 21 RBIs and has scored 54 times. |
