Sal Ostendorff Out of Action Thursday, September 9th, 2027 The Maple Marauders were dealt a severe blow when Sal Ostendorff was hurt making a defensive play recently in a game against the Eureka Hornets. After the game, the team trainer reported Ostendorff might have to spend a lengthy time on the disabled list. Today doctors confirmed it, ruling the 32-year-old left fielder out for the rest of the season with a fractured hand. They indicated it would take Ostendorff at least 6 weeks to heal. This season Ostendorff has hit at a .320 clip and produced 113 RBI, 37 home runs and 92 runs. |
