Black Knights Lose Jan Shirazi Monday, August 30th, 2027 The Brooklyn Black Knights will lose the services of starting pitcher Jan Shirazi after he sustained a damaged elbow ligament while throwing a pitch in today's game against the Montreal Bandits. "I'll get through it," Shirazi said. "The key now is to stay positive." His trainer said he is expected to be sidelined for 9 months. This year Shirazi has compiled a 14-9 record with a 4.07 ERA in 29 starts. |
