McGowan Collects Player of the Week Award Monday, August 30th, 2027 Veteran Steve McGowan had a great week at the plate for the Bandits to capture the majority of votes for Player of the Week in the Roberto Clemente League. The 33-year-old Montreal left fielder built a .483 average on the strength of 14 hits in 29 at-bats, 5 home runs and 9 RBIs. So far this season McGowan has hit .320 with 38 home runs, 116 RBIs and and scored 111 times. |
