Star of the Week Selected in RCL Monday, August 23rd, 2027 The Roberto Clemente League has named its Top Player of the Week. The honor went to André Georges, first baseman of the Minnesota Berserkers. In an extraordinary hitting display, he belted out hits at a .429 pace to win the award. Georges went 9-for-21 for the week, totaled 4 home runs, 12 RBIs and scored 7 times. Georges is hitting .280 this season with 32 home runs, 101 RBIs and 76 runs scored. He has 137 hits in 490 at-bats. |
