TML Star of the Week Chosen Monday, August 9th, 2027 His hard work and hustle paid off this week. The hard-working and hard-playing Akio Toyoda was rewarded with the Thurman Munson League Player of the Week honors. The scrappy Kansas City Tornadoes first baseman hit .391 while collecting 9 hits in 23 at-bats, 4 home runs and 12 RBIs. To date Toyoda has chalked up a .282 average with 25 home runs, driven in 85 runs and scored 72 times. |
