28-Game Streak Ends, Weber Hitless
Tuesday, August 3rd, 2027
Andrew Weber's 28-game hitting streak was snapped today at The Frozen Tundra. The 31-year-old Berserkers left fielder failed to get a hit in 3 at-bats in the game with the Montreal Bandits, but Minnesota came out the winner, topping them 3-2.

One of his teammates told BNN, "The streak was no big deal to Andrew. He ain't that type of guy. He just wants to help the team win ballgames. That's the bottom line."

Thus far this season Weber is hitting .310 with 29 home runs, 79 RBIs and 53 runs scored. He has 112 hits in 361 at-bats and has played in 93 games.
