RCL Selects Rookie Star of the Month Sunday, August 1st, 2027 Masayoshi Sai is still a bit shy, but then, who could blame the newest Roberto Clemente League Rookie of the Month honoree? He hasn't been around the league long enough to fully know the ropes yet, despite the fact that he's putting up veteran-like numbers. In July the Brooklyn hitter tagged opposing pitching for a .362 average with 34 hits, 6 home runs and 30 RBIs. For the season Sai is batting .336 with 47 hits and 9 home runs. He has scored 34 times and batted in 38. |
