Manglorkar Has 20-Game Hitting Streak Monday, July 19th, 2027 The Grays won the game today, but you would have been hard pressed to find anyone talking about it. The focus seemed to be on second baseman Abalendu Manglorkar extending his hitting streak to 20 games by going 2-for-4 in the game. "Sure we are happy that we won, but seeing Abalendu extend his streak was also special," said a jubilant Georgia manager. "He's a special player who is capable of doing some amazing things at the plate." For the record, the Grays defeated the Jersey Jesters 5-1 at The Royal Court at Jersey Yards. Abalendu Manglorkar struck out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th and walked in the 9th. Presently Manglorkar is batting .351 with 16 home runs and 51 RBIs. He has played in 73 games and scored 58 times. |
