Red-Hot Rampage Reaps TML Reward Monday, July 19th, 2027 It was a fantastic week for Georgia second baseman Carlos Campos and it was capped off today with the announcement that he was named the winner of the Thurman Munson League Player of the Week Award. Last week Campos hammered the ball at a torrid .552 pace, going 16-for-29 with 2 home runs, 9 RBIs and 9 runs scored. This season Campos has banged out 122 hits in 381 at-bats for a .320 average with 12 home runs. He is getting on base at a .381 pace and his totals also include 47 RBIs and 61 runs scored. |
