Player of the Week: Davi of the Beavers Monday, July 12th, 2027 At the age of 26, Baber Davi might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Portland first baseman put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .481 batting average. For his efforts Davi collected the Thurman Munson League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 13 hits in 27 at-bats, 2 home runs and 8 RBIs last week in 6 games. Presently Davi is batting .309 and has collected 12 home runs, 54 RBIs, .363 OBP and scored 45 runs. |
