Young Wins RCL Player of the Week Trophy Monday, June 21st, 2027 At the age of 29, Joe Young might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Seattle right fielder put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .481 batting average. For his efforts Young collected the Roberto Clemente League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 13 hits in 27 at-bats, 5 home runs and 13 RBIs last week in 7 games. This season in 72 games, Young has hit at a .322 clip with 95 hits, 24 home runs, 65 RBIs and 51 runs scored. |
