Federico Cavatta Out of Action Monday, June 14th, 2027 Maple fans will be disappointed to learn that Federico Cavatta suffered a broken bone in the elbow while running the bases in today's game. After the doctor informed the Maple Marauders manager that Cavatta was expected to miss 6-7 months, the manager told the press that the rest of the team would have to step up their play until the shortstop could return. "You can't make excuses in baseball, because there's always a game tomorrow," said the team's skipper. In 52 games this season Cavatta has batted at a .345 pace with 68 hits and 6 home runs. |
