Hits Galore: Graham Drills 5 Hits Saturday, June 5th, 2027 It's not something you read about in the sports pages every day -- a 5-for-6 day. It might come around only once in a career -- a lot of players never have one -- but Dean Graham got one today. He scattered hits all over The Humidor to pace Montreal to a 13-6 victory over Havana. The Havana skipper told reporters in the press room, "Tip your hat to him. He hit some good pitches. According to the scouting report, Graham hit several that he is not supposed to hit." Dean Graham singled in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Teguh Suharto in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and struck out in the 9th. In the 2027 season Graham is hitting .335 with 13 home runs. |
