Tornadoes Chill Ghandi's Hot Streak
Monday, May 31st, 2027
Cabo San Lucas center fielder Kajal Ghandi came into today's game against the Kansas City Tornadoes on a hot streak. When it was over, the Tornadoes did their job very well. They beat the Cabo San Lucas Toreros 4-3 and cooled him off at the same time. Kansas City stopped Ghandi without a hit and his 20-game hitting streak came to an end.

The 23-year-old Ghandi only had a few words to say after the game, "I had a chance to do it and I came up short."

His manager commented, "What Kajal did was exciting and quite an achievement. It's tough enough to get one hit in this league, much less go 20 games in a row. I'm really proud of him. And I'm even more proud of the way he handled the press coverage. He never let the frenzy get to him or affect his play."

Ghandi is hitting at a .356 mark this season. His stats show 3 home runs, 30 RBIs and 34 runs scored. He has played 49 games for the Toreros.
