San Francisco-Eureka Trade: Nevárez for Nagaraj Monday, May 31st, 2027 The Baseball News Network is reporting that the Earthquakes and Hornets have consummated a trade. Eureka will receive 32-year-old RHP Andrés Nevárez and 32-year-old LHP Leon King in a swap for 23-year-old minor league RHP Javier Galindo and 25-year-old RHP Kalyanavarman Nagaraj. A league analyst called the trade a "pretty even transaction." This season Nevárez has been credited with 2 saves. In 26 relief appearances and 37.1 innings he has a 5-0 won-lost mark, a 2.65 ERA and 37 strikeouts. Nagaraj has gone to the hill for 25 relief appearances this season, nailing down no saves while notching a 2-1 record with a 4.19 ERA. The San Francisco reliever has limited opposing batters to a .238 batting average. |
