Johnson Collects Cycle
Friday, May 7th, 2027
It was a quite a day for Ronnie Johnson at Memorial Circle Park!
He hit for the cycle, belting out every kind of hit there is in a baseball game -- single, double, triple and a home run. The Eureka shortstop accomplished the rare feat during his team's 9-2 victory over the Oakland Storm Chasers.

He told BNN reporters at the postgame press conference, "I never even thought about hitting for the cycle and what do you know, I did it. The cycle really doesn't matter to me, it is the 4 hits and the win that are important. But I guess it will be nice to see my name in the record book."

Johnson went 4-for-5 in the game with 1 RBI and 4 runs scored.

Ronnie Johnson tripled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Jesús Castillo in the 3rd, flied out in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and walked in the 9th.

So far this season Johnson has gotten 29 hits in 86 at-bats for a .337 batting average with 8 home runs. His stats include 13 RBIs and 26 runs scored. He has played in 27 games.
