Blair Misses Time with Day-to-Day Injury Wednesday, May 5th, 2027 Las Vegas's star catcher Ralph Blair injured himself in a game against the Seattle Sasquatch, prompting the team to list him as day-to-day. The doctors are reporting the injury as a stiff back and they say the best medicine is a short period of rest. "Hopefully I don't get replaced by some hotshot wannabe," said Blair with a smile as he talked to reporters. This season Blair is hitting .337 with 34 hits, 12 home runs, 35 RBIs, scored 20 runs and played in 26 games. |
