Kidney Transplant Surgery Successful for Morris and Cousin Monday, April 19th, 2027 Leon Morris underwent surgery today as doctors removed his kidney and successfully transplanted it into his ailing cousin. Both Morris and his cousin are reportedly alert and resting comfortably at a local hospital. Doctors say it's too soon to know if the transplanted kidney will take but confirm that the kidney was an ideal match. If all goes well, Morris will likely be released from the hospital within the week. Morris, formerly of the Seattle Sasquatch, walked away from baseball three weeks ago in order to undergo the potentially lifesaving procedure for his cousin. |
