Hall of Fame Selection announcement coming next week

The 2028 ADULT BASEBALL LEAGUE Hall of Fame class will soon be welcomed into baseball history.
The leading candidate for enshrinement is Tom Becker, who put up an impressive 12-year career.
Becker retired in 2023, at the age of 39, and said if elected he plans to go in as a member of the Las Vegas Gamblers.
Voters are reminded that ballots may be cast up until the votes are announced on January 4th, 2028.
Becker has a .332 career batting average and has hit a total of 402 home runs.

South Carolina Bombers Ship Cherono to Dallas

South Carolina and Dallas have agreed in principle to a trade. The Bombers will send 25-year-old RHP Bahadur Rangaraj and 28-year-old RHP Gabresilassie Cherono to the Texans for 36-year-old RHP Reynaldo Soto and 21-year-old minor league C Brendan Acton. The deal is expected to be finalized shortly and the clubs will be introducing their new players to the press when the paperwork is complete.
Soto has 42 wins and 31 losses over his career in addition to 33 saves. He has posted a career 4.08 ERA and recorded 945 strikeouts in 785.1 innings.
