Red Bulls Star Wins Cy Young Award Sunday, November 8th, 2026 The Cy Young Award for 2026 has been presented and the Alexander Cartwright League winner is Enrique Baldivía of Riverside. "It's always nice to receive an award like this," said Baldivía. "I just hope I can improve on my performance next year and be in the running again," the Red Bulls star told reporters. Baldivía excelled with an impressive 22-1 record in 33 starts. In 199 innings he yielded 153 hits and 51 walks, while striking out 290 and compiling a fine 2.08 ERA. Ramón Gómez of the Pacifica Shamrocks finished second in voting, while John Deschamps of the Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats finished third. |
