Setback for Montreal and Maurice Gould Thursday, December 24th, 2026 Just when it looked like Maurice Gould would soon return to the Montreal Bandits, the starting pitcher suffered yet another setback in his recovery from a torn rotator cuff. According to his doctors, treatment was progressing well until yesterday, when Gould experienced quite a bit of pain during a workout. Further examination revealed he had caused more damage and would now be disabled for at least 3 months. Thus far in his career, Gould has 250 victories and 112 defeats with a 3.21 ERA. He has limited other teams to a .244 average. |
