South Carolina, Kansas City Deal Made Saturday, December 12th, 2026 The South Carolina Bombers and Kansas City Tornadoes have put the finishing touches on a deal that was weeks in the making. South Carolina will part with 24-year-old RHP Loeck Jurgens and 22-year-old SS Tsunayoshi Tanaka, while the Tornadoes have dealt 26-year-old SS Kulaja Godambe and 22-year-old minor league RHP Bruce Klein. "This one took a while to figure out," said the South Carolina general manager. "We must have gone back to the drawing board five or six times over the past few weeks. I'm glad we finally got the deal done. I think it is a good one for both clubs." In his career Jurgens has gone 2-2 with an ERA of 4.69, picking up 45 strikeouts in 55.2 innings pitched. In his career stats Godambe has compiled a .279 batting average and collected 692 hits, 57 home runs and 306 RBIs. |
