ORIX Manager Barraclough Gets the Boot Friday, September 12th, 2025 "I'm just a scapegoat," said Gene Barraclough to reporters in the stadium parking lot after the ORIX Buffaloes announced his firing as manager early today. "You think I did a bad job? It's the players who couldn't hit, couldn't pitch, couldn't catch the damn ball. And you can print that," he added, as he stamped out a cigarette and stomped off. Barraclough's replacement wasn't immediately named, but a ORIX official said an announcement could come as soon as tomorrow. |
