PL Votes Marines Ch'oe Top Player Monday, August 18th, 2025 It was some kind of week for Cheol-chung Ch'oe of the Chiba Lotte Marines. First he hits the heck out of the ball, ripping it at a .538 clip and the next thing you know, he is voted the Player of the Week in the Pacific League. Last week Ch'oe went 7-for-13, chalked up no home runs and 2 RBIs and scored 5 runs. Not a bad week's work at all. So far this year in 93 games Ch'oe is hitting .332 with 24 home runs, 94 RBIs and 82 runs scored. |
