CL Player of the Week Selected Monday, July 21st, 2025 The Player of the Week has been announced by the Central League. The award went to Shigeaki Maeda, first baseman of the Tokyo Yakult Swallows. He dominated league pitchers with a .600 average to win the honor. Maeda went 9-for-15 for the week, totaled 1 home run with 6 RBIs and scored 5 times.
