Golden Eagles Won't Get Playoff Berth Saturday, July 5th, 2025 Morihiro Yamasaki of the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles said it's a "bitter disappointment" for he and his teammates to not make the playoffs. But that's what they are now having to deal with as the club was mathematically eliminated today. Tohoku Rakuten last appeared in the postseason in 2015. This is their 10th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 11 times in their 13-year history. |
