Mori Picked Best Player Monday, June 23rd, 2025 Pitchers who faced the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles last week were happy to see Katsumoto Mori in the rear view mirror. The 18-year-old shortstop was dubbed the Pacific League Player of the Week for a 2-game tear that saw him hit at a .667 clip. For the week he also chalked up 6 hits in 9 at-bats, 1 home run, 2 RBIs and 5 runs scored. Mori currently has a .433 batting average with 13 hits, 1 homers, 4 RBIs, 9 runs scored and a .528 OBP. |
